The heart chakra of compassion is the fourth of the seven chakras in the energy body. It is located at the level of the physical heart, at the center of the chest. Tap Into Your Heart Chakra Energy
In this article, i want to show you a simple meditation exercise that will help bring out your heart chakra energy.
1.) Sit in a comfortable position, with your back straight and shoulders relaxed.
2.) Bring your palms together and lightly press the knuckles of the thumbs into the sternum at the level of your heart.
3.) Begin to breath in slowly from the stomach and chest. Close your eyes, and let go of any distracting thoughts or emotions. Focus only on your breathing.
4.) When you feel that your mind is clear, focus your attention on the pressure of your thumbs against your chest. Feel the beat of your heart for about 1-5 minutes.
5.) Now, release your hands and gently rub them together. When you feel your hands warm and energized place the right one on your heart and the left hand right on top of it.
6.) With your eyes still closed, feel the warmth and the energy of the heart chakra rushing through your body. Visualize this energy as a emerald green light, radiating out from your heart and flowing through your whole body.
7.) After you feel ready, slowly release your hands and extend them out with the palms facing outward at your sides with your elbows bent.
8.) Feel the energy channeling out of your palms and into the world.
9.) End your meditation by bringing your arms up, and inhaling deeply as you reach up for the sky. Slowly Exhale and bring your arms back down to your sides. You can now open your eyes whenever your ready.

Opening The Heart Chakra
The heart chakra is the fourth of seven chakras inside the body. Each chakra is an energy center and responsible for different emotions or feelings you have. The heart chakra is no exception, it is your center for unconditional love. Also it is a very important chakra, considering it is directly linked to your physical heart and circulatory system. It is the source for many of our feelings good and bad such as jealousy, grief, happiness, love, anger, and many more.
Here is a simple exercise that will aid us on this journey:
1. Sit up with your back straight in a chair. Try your best to breath normal but also deeply.
2. At this point, close your eyes and focus on your heart.
3. Visualize yourself entering your heart.
4. Now imagine that you are standing in a grassy plain, the sky is clear and a bright pink. You look to your right, and see a green grassy hill. On that hill stands a temple, this temple in fact represents your heart. Now think about this for a moment, as you walk over to this temple do you notice it clean and neatly kept? Or is it covered with dust?
5. Enter the temple, and see the shining light This light grows brighter as you approach it. It swells and recedes rhythmically with your own heart beat in the bowl-like depression in the center of the room.
6. Gaze upon this flame. Send it your energies. See it respond to your energies, watch it grow bright and strong as it reaches up to touch the ceiling high above. You are feeding the flame of your heart. Breathe deeply and realize in the depth of your being that your heart center is coming alive.
7. Open your eyes at this point and reflect on this for at least 5 minutes before rising.
Do not perform this more than twice a week.

Just as it is important to cleanse your physical body from time to time, it is also important to perform cleansing on the chakras as well. You can not see your chakras, however they are your energy centers are are just as much a part of your body as your lungs or colon is.
These are nine easy steps and are a great way to start cleansing the chakras.
1.) Start off by closing your eyes. Begin to focus on your breathing, Breath deeply through your nostrils, and then exhale through your mouth.
2.) Visualize a white light coming down from above and flowing through your body, sweeping away and cleansing yourself of all negativity. The negativity is drawn out from your body and moved away into the earth.
3.) Next visualize a red vortex of energy spinning slowly at the base of your spine. It is your Root Chakra connecting you to the earth. As it spins, it is cleansing you of all the impurities contained within you.
4.) Begin to visualize an orange vortex of energy now, located just below your navel. It is your Sacral chakra of sexuality. As it spins it cleanses you just like the others.
5.) Just below your rib cage, visualize a yellow vortex of energy which is your Solar Plexus Chakra. Watch it spin slowly and cleansing your body.

How To Open Your Chakra
This technique is effective in opening and clearing your chakras. You can either use this on yourself or on others. If you are going to use this method on your self, i recommend doing so in the bathtub or shower. The reason for this, is because by already being in the water it will be much easier for you to rinse your hand after each chakra is opened.
If you are performing this on someone else other than yourself, rinse your hand in a bowl of water after each chakra is opened. Water is fluid and you will be releasing the energy into the water to avoid doing any harm to yourself or others. Alright so let's get started!
1.) Place your hand with your palm facing down on your forehead. If you are a man, use your right hand. If you are a woman, use your left hand. Keep your hand wide open for more effective energy absorption. If you are performing this on another person, place your hand about two inches above each of the seven chakras. Do not touch their body.
2.) Now release into your hand, all the thoughts, feelings, emotions, you have recently experienced that you have kept locked up inside of yourself. When you are sure that you have released everything, you may take your hand off your forehead.
3.) Now move your hand onto your throat. Release all the negative words you have spoken or has been spoken to you.
4.) Next, place your hand on your heart. You should notice a pleasant warmth inside. This is the truth of your being, take a moment to appreciate this.

One great exercise for balancing all seven of the chakras is to chant the bija mantras. Bija mantras are known as "seed" syllables. Each sound is related to a different chakra. Chanting all seven, will harmonize and bring balance to the entire chakra system.
Also, it is a great way to practice deep breathing. The bija mantras all rhyme with "Mom" except for "OM" (rhymes like home), and "All" (rhymes with call).
They are:
Lam
Vam
Ram
Yam
Ham
Om
All
It is important to chant these in the order listed.

How To Open Each Chakra
When beginning to open the chakras, I recommend starting from the bottom and work your way up to the top. Basically you would start from the root chakra, once that chakra is opened you then procceed to the Sacral Chakra, Naval Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, and then lastly the Crown Chakra.
Each Chakra is responsible for a different emotional,physical, and mental state and they are all interconnected with one another. They all rely on each other in order to maintain proper balance.
1.) The foundation of all the Chakras is the Root. Once the Root Chakra is open, you will immediately experience a feeling of welcoming and security.
2) Now you are able to move on and open the Sacral Chakra so that you may be able to properly express feelings and sexuality.

When beginning to open the chakras, I recommend starting from the bottom and work your way up to the top. Basically you would start from the root chakra, once that chakra is opened you then procceed to the Sacral Chakra, Naval Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, and then lastly the Crown Chakra.
Each Chakra is responsible for a different emotional,physical, and mental state and they are all interconnected with one another. They all rely on each other in order to maintain proper balance.

How To Achieve Chakra Stimulation
Are you searching for the secrets to chakra stimulation? Well it is actually no secret at all! There are many methods one can use to stimulate the chakras. Some popular methods include the use of crystals, yoga, other physical exercises, and meditation. My method of choice is through meditation. It is good to be well rounded in as many methods as possible but i prefer meditation. I have found that it is the most effective method for me. Step 1 Posture
It is important to sit with your back straight. Do not worry about sitting cross legged or in the lotus position. As a beginner, it is more important that you are comfortable! You can even sit in a chair if it helps you keep your back straight and your weight centered.
Step 2- Breathing
At this point, we will start to focus on our breathing. Start to take deep breaths. First, inhale through the nostrils. Then, exhale through the mouth. Find whatever pace works best for you, just make sure it is steady and you stay consistent with it throughout this meditation session.
Step- 3 Drawing Down The White Light
Begin to visualize the white light, coursing freely like a liquid down through the seven chakra centers of the body. This can take some practice to get the hang of, the clearer you can visualize this the stronger the effect it will have on stimulating each chakra.
First, visualize the white light coursing down through the crown chakra.
Then, through the third eye chakra
Then, down through the throat chakra
Then, visualize it continuing through the heart chakra
Next, it goes down through the solar plexus chakra
Afterwards, it comes down through the spleen chakra
Finally, the white light reaches the root chakra.
